The Marysville Passing Track and Belleville Junction project area is located within three municipalities, including the City of Belleville, the County of Hastings (more specifically, the Township of Tyendinaga) and the Town of Greater Napanee. The Belleville Junction is contained within the Belleville City limits, east of Cannifton Road Parkway.
The Marysville passing track and Belleville Junction project improvements consist of adding 37 kilometres of mainline track from Napanee West extending to Canifton Parkway. In the Belleville yard, 4.2 kilometres of new and upgraded track will be added.
Installation of fencing, site clean ups and ongoing restoration. Hours of work will be from 7:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m.
